Description

Students will explore ethical, legal and professional issues in the practice and science of school counselling, school-based guidance and wellbeing promotion. Students will learn how to engage in systematic ethical decision-making informed by the professional ethics codes, provincial standards of practice and legislation, and existing school board policies and community partners.

Prerequisite(s): Admission to Master of Education, School Counselling Specialization.
