Completion requirement

In addition to Faculty of Graduate Studies requirements, the Faculty of Science requires students to complete:

The Master of Data Science and Analytics requires 33 units of coursework consisting of:

Note: Students who acquire a paid internship are to register in Data 693; students who acquire an unpaid internship are to register in Data 695.

Students must seek approval from the Academic Coordinator to withdraw from, or drop, courses.

Registration in courses extra-to-program requires approval from the Program Director.

Completion requirement

Advanced Credit

Advanced Credit will not normally be given for any of the Data Science and Analytics credentials.

Flexible Grade Option (CG Grade)

The Data Science and Analytics Professional Program will allow students to pursue the Flexible Grade Option (CG Grade).

The use of the CG grade will affect students’ eligibility for internal awards.

Time Limit

The expected completion time for the Master of Data Science and Analytics is 12 months. Maximum completion time is six years from the start of the program.
