Simple Requirements

Completion requirement

In addition to the Faculty of Graduate Studies (see regulations) and Faculty of Science requirements, the Department requires:

18 units consisting of:

Complete ALL of the following Courses:

    AND
    1608221
    AND
    1608231
    AND
    1608241
    AND
    1608261

No substitutions accepted.

Graduation requires successful completion of all required courses with a minimum grade of "B".

Advanced Credit

Advanced Credit is not given.


Flexible Grade Option (CG Grade)

Students admitted to the PHAS Graduate Program will not be allowed to request the Flexible Grade Option (CG Grade) for any course that is applicable to their degree; or apply any course awarded a grade of CG towards their graduation requirements.

Students may choose the CG grade for a course taken extra to load.

The use of the CG grade will not affect students' eligibility for internal awards.


Credit for Undergraduate Courses

No credit will be given for undergraduate-level courses.


Time Limit

Expected completion time is two years for the Postdoctoral Diploma program.

Registrants are supervised by the Director of Medical Physics or designate, Tom Baker Cancer Centre.
